какие манипуляции проводил с игрой ?
попробуй удалить Minecraft.jar или снести полностью папку с игрой и заного скачать клиент

Не проводил абсолютно никаких манипуляций. Сейчас попробую

Снес папку с игрой, установил заново. То же самое.
